Supreme Court: By 2025, the number of first-instance cases involving company disputes across the country increased by 51.07% compared to the previous year.
On February 24th, Wang Chuang, the head of the Second Civil Division of the Supreme People's Court, stated at a press conference held by the Supreme People's Court that the Supreme Court is promoting the improvement of corporate governance structure. By 2025, the number of first-instance cases involving corporate disputes accepted by the courts nationwide reached 175,300, an increase of 51.07% compared to the previous year. Courts at all levels are taking measures to address issues such as "chain litigation", resolving internal disputes in family businesses, breaking deadlock in companies, and regulating the behavior of shareholders and management. They are actively guiding private enterprises to improve their corporate governance structure.
