The Peruvian Presidency confirms the appointment of Hernando de Soto as the new Prime Minister.

The Peruvian Presidential Palace announced on February 22nd that economist Hernando de Soto has been appointed as the chairman of the council of ministers. The swearing-in ceremony for de Soto and all other cabinet members will be held on the 24th.
