According to today's official announcement from the National Energy Administration, Ren Yuzhi, Director of the Planning Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that efforts will be made to implement key tasks. Firstly, efforts will be made to build new energy infrastructure, strengthen the supply system of non-fossil energy, and build a new power system suitable for a high proportion of new energy. Secondly, efforts will be made to build a strong and resilient energy supply chain, solidify the foundation of energy strategic security, operational security, and emergency security, and enhance energy security under open conditions. Thirdly, efforts will be made to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of energy consumption, promote the peaking of coal and oil consumption, and strengthen clean energy substitution at the terminal. Fourthly, efforts will be made to accelerate the independent and self-reliant development of high-level energy science and technology, strengthen innovation in key technology and equipment, and improve the modernization level of the industrial chain. Fifthly, efforts will be made to strengthen the institutional guarantee for high-quality energy development, accelerate the construction of a unified national energy market system, and improve energy laws, standards, and regulatory systems.
