US media: US Defense Secretary may meet with Anthropic CEO.

According to a report from the AXIOS website, U.S. Secretary of Defense Huxley will summon Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic, to the Pentagon on Tuesday morning local time. Sources reveal that this meeting is likely to be a tense discussion about the terms related to the Anthropic company's "Claude" system in military applications. A senior official from the Department of Defense revealed: "The Anthropic team is clear that this is not a 'get-to-know-each-other' meeting. This is not a friendly exchange. This is a 'either participate or be excluded' meeting." Claude is the only available AI model in the military's classified systems, and it is also the most powerful model for handling sensitive national defense and intelligence work. The Pentagon is not willing to lose access to Claude, but they are angered by Anthropic's refusal to completely lift their security measures. A Department of Defense official said that Huxley will essentially issue a final ultimatum to Anthropic.
