Hainan welcomes the peak of Spring Festival holiday outflow.

Journalists learned from the Hainan Provincial Department of Transportation on the 22nd that Hainan is facing a peak period of leaving the island during the Spring Festival holiday. Journalists found that in the next two days, all the tickets for leaving the island in the Qiongzhou Strait are already marked as "sold out"; in terms of civil aviation, most of the economy class tickets from cities such as Haikou and Sanya to popular domestic cities have also been sold out. According to statistics, in the first 20 days before the Spring Festival travel rush, the total number of passengers entering and leaving the island through the Qiongzhou Strait has reached 2.5017 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.81%, and the total number of vehicles entering and leaving the island has reached 611,400, a year-on-year increase of 11.39%; in terms of civil aviation, the total number of passengers entering and leaving the island reached 4.1056 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.32%. Currently, in terms of civil aviation, relevant departments in Hainan are working together with operating airlines in Qiong to strengthen the monitoring of the aviation transportation market, adjust capacity flexibly, and meet temporary demands for popular routes and destinations through measures such as overtime work and adjusting aircraft types. As for the Qiongzhou Strait, the ports will coordinate and adjust capacity based on factors such as passenger cancellations, the transportation of heavy goods vehicles, and weather conditions, with around 2,000 fuel-powered vehicle tickets and 800 new energy vehicle tickets being released every day at 9 am and 6 pm respectively.
