Journalists learned from China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd that in recent days, the return passenger flow of the Yangtze River Delta Railway during the Spring Festival travel rush has maintained a growth trend. On February 21st, 2.913 million passengers were sent, an increase of 18.3% year-on-year. It is estimated that 3.19 million passengers will be sent on February 22nd, an increase of 15.3% year-on-year. Since the beginning of this year's Spring Festival travel rush, a total of 51.893 million passengers have been sent as of February 21st, with an average of approximately 2.595 million passengers sent per day. On February 20th, the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, Shanghai Airport had a daily passenger flow of 424,900, with Pudong Airport serving 275,700 passengers and Hongqiao Airport serving 149,200 passengers. Compared to the same period during last year's Spring Festival travel rush, this was an increase of 6.4%, reaching a historical high and welcoming the new year with a "lucky start".
