The Malian military issued a statement on the 21st, saying that the Malian Air Force carried out targeted strikes on a group of armed terrorists in the Sikasso region in the southwest on the 20th, with preliminary results showing that more than 50 terrorists were killed. The Malian Armed Forces General Staff said in the statement that the Air Force, while conducting aerial reconnaissance missions in the Yenefuliara area of the Sikasso region that day, identified a target near a water body and carried out the strike, destroying all the equipment of the terrorists in the operation.
