Australian natural gas producer Santos signed a 10-year gas supply agreement with the South Australian government.

On February 20th, Australian natural gas producer Santos announced that they have signed a binding terms sheet with the South Australian government to supply natural gas to the Whyalla steelworks in support of its transition to a low-emission green steel facility. According to the agreement, Santos will supply 20 petajoules of natural gas annually for a period of 10 years, with the first supply scheduled for March 1, 2030.
