Chris LeHane, Chief Global Affairs Officer of OpenAI, stated that the startup is partnering with strategic partners who provide "support" in chip supply. OpenAI executives remain vigilant about supply chain issues, ensuring they are "sleeping with one eye open" to verify the availability of supply. LeHane is currently attending an AI summit in India with CEO Sam Altman. He also emphasized the importance of international governance cooperation, noting that countries like the US, UK, and Japan have established AI safety agencies and likening it to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
