Reuters reported that Netflix has ample cash and may increase its bid for Warner Bros Discovery if competitors Paramount and Skydance raise their offer. The two media giants are fiercely competing for Warner Bros' classic film and television library, which includes iconic IPs such as "Harry Potter," "Game of Thrones," DC Comics, and Superman. While Warner Bros is pushing for a shareholder vote on Netflix's bid on March 20, it has given Paramount a week to come up with a more attractive offer. Netflix has offered $27.75 per share for Warner Bros' film and streaming business, totaling $82.7 billion, while Paramount has bid $108.4 billion for the entire Warner Bros Discovery Channel company, which includes TV assets such as CNN and HGTV under the Discovery Global business. Netflix and Warner Bros both declined to comment.
