Supreme People's Procuratorate: Continue to deepen and standardize the openness of procuratorial work

Li Xuehui, director of the Office of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, introduced in a recent interview that the Supreme Procuratorate will continue to deepen and standardize the openness of procuratorial work, constantly improve the breadth, accuracy, and depth of openness, and better meet the new expectations of the people for fairness and justice. Since 2025, Li Xuehui said that the Supreme Procuratorate has organized three open day events in a four-level linkage manner around the themes of "the fifth anniversary of the implementation of the Civil Code," "comprehensive judicial protection of minors," and "supervision of criminal execution." Meanwhile, procuratorates across the country have also autonomously carried out various forms of open day activities according to local work reality. In addition, the Supreme Procuratorate regularly discloses to the public the handling of certain cases every year, such as infringement of personal information, medical insurance fraud, environmental pollution, food and drug safety, etc. Since 2020, the Supreme Procuratorate has disclosed 58 types in 22 batches, and in 2025, 11 types in 4 batches. Through the public disclosure of such cases, not only are legal risks indicated, but social justice is also led by judicial justice, embodying the responsibility of the procuratorial organs.
