CNH Industrial, one of the world's largest agricultural machinery manufacturers, stated that the tough situation on North American farms, due to low grain prices and trade uncertainties, will continue to recover until next year. CNH, which owns tractor brands such as Case IH and New Holland, stated in a statement that global demand this year may "further decline by 5% to historic lows." Despite the Trump administration launching a $12 billion farmer aid program, their competitor AGCO Corp. stated earlier this month that this aid has not yet translated into new sales.
