BHP Billiton signed a silver streaming agreement with Wheaton Precious Metals.

BHP Billiton: has signed a long-term prepayment agreement with Wheaton Precious Metals International Limited. According to the agreement, BHP Billiton will receive a prepayment of $4.3 billion upon completion of the transaction. BHP Billiton will deliver silver to Wheaton based on its share of silver production at the Antamina mine. Under the agreement, Wheaton will also pay BHP Billiton 20% of the spot price of silver at the time of delivery for each ounce of silver delivered.
