India holds AI "Impact" Summit, executives from Google, OpenAI and others expected to attend.

The five-day India Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit opened on February 16 in New Delhi. This summit, themed "People, Progress, Planet," is hosted by the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and is said to be the "largest ever" in history. According to Indian sources, leaders from countries such as France and Brazil will attend the summit, as well as technology company CEOs Sundar Pichai, CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman, and President of Microsoft, Brad Smith. Indian Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to deliver a speech at the summit on the 19th.
