Alibaba open sources the brand new generation large model Qwen3.5-Plus, dominating the world's strongest open source model. Qwen3.5 achieves intergenerational leap from pure text model to native multimodal model. Qwen3 pre-training is based on pure text tokens, while Qwen3.5 is pre-trained based on visual and text mixed tokens, with a significant increase in Chinese, English, multilingual, STEM and reasoning data, enabling the large model with "eyes open" to learn more dense world knowledge and reasoning logic. With less than 40% of the parameter amount, Qwen3-Max base model achieves top performance in reasoning, programming, Agent intelligence, and other comprehensive benchmark evaluations.
