According to the Ministry of Transport, data from the Spring Festival Transport Work Special Team showed that on February 15, 2026, the total inter-regional passenger flow in society was 286.397 million, an increase of 0.3% compared to the previous period, and a 10.7% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Specifically, railway passenger traffic was 13.798 million, a decrease of 9.8% compared to the previous period, but an increase of 3.2% compared to the same period in 2025. Road passenger flow was 269.31 million, an increase of 0.9% compared to the previous period, and an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Among them, commercial road passenger traffic was 384.5 million, a decrease of 4.2% compared to the previous period, but an increase of 8.2% compared to the same period in 2025; non-commercial small passenger car travel on highways and ordinary national and provincial roads reached 230.86 million, an increase of 1.8% compared to the previous period, and an 11.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Waterway passenger traffic was 919,000, a decrease of 4.8% compared to the previous period, but a 38.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Air passenger traffic was 2.371 million, a decrease of 1.6% compared to the previous period, but a 6.4% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
