According to the latest news, Japanese storage giant Koka expects its revised pricing policy for North American customers to take effect from the first quarter of 2026, with an average sales price expected to increase by about 50% quarter-on-quarter. Morgan Stanley estimates that Koka's gross profit margin after the adjustment in the first quarter will reach 66%. Some analysts point out that Koka's price increase has sent a positive signal to the entire NAND industry, and the profitability of the storage chip industry will be significantly improved. Goldman Sachs predicts that Samsung Electronics' NAND business operating profit margin will increase sharply to 37% in the first quarter of 2026, and SK Hynix will rise to 42%.
