On February 14th, according to the statistics and analysis from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the new energy vehicle market operated steadily in January 2026, with a slight decrease in domestic sales but a high-speed growth in exports. In January 2026, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.041 million and 945,000 units respectively, increasing by 2.5% and 0.1% year-on-year. Domestic sales of new energy vehicles in January 2026 were 643,000 units, decreasing by 18.9% year-on-year and 54.4% month-on-month; while exports of new energy vehicles reached 302,000 units, doubling year-on-year and increasing by 0.5% month-on-month.
