The central government has arranged 1.25 billion yuan to actively support the promotion from weak to strong of winter wheat.

In order to implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and actively respond to the production situation of late sowing and weak seedling of winter wheat, the Ministry of Finance recently coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to arrange a total of 1.25 billion yuan of central financial funds to support 11 major winter wheat producing provinces in carrying out relevant work such as promoting weak seedlings to become strong. The focus is on providing appropriate subsidies for disaster prevention and stability measures such as additional planting and application of seedling fertilizer, in order to solidify the foundation for stable and abundant summer grain production.
