United Nations: At least 6,000 people were killed during the rapid support forces' capture of Fashir in Sudan.

On February 13th local time, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights released a report stating that at least 6000 civilians were killed by the Sudan Rapid Support Forces during the capture of the capital of North Darfur State, Fashir, at the end of last year. The report noted that within the first three days of the capture of Fashir, there were at least 6000 incidents of civilian killings in the city and surrounding areas, with approximately 4400 deaths in the city and another about 1600 people killed while fleeing Fashir.
