Mexico initiates anti-dumping sunset review investigation on seamless steel pipes from China

The Ministry of Economy of Mexico issued a notice on February 6, 2026, in response to an application from the Mexican manufacturer Tubos de Acero de Mxico, S.A., initiating an anti-dumping sunset review investigation on seamless steel pipes originating from China. The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2025. The tariff numbers for the products involved are 7304.19.02, 7304.19.99, 7304.39.12, 7304.39.13, 7304.39.91, and 7304.39.99. During the investigation period, the current anti-dumping duty remains in effect. The notice will come into effect the day after it is issued. Stakeholders are required to register for the investigation within 28 working days of the publication of the notice, and submit questionnaires, comments on the case, and evidence materials.
