The National Energy Administration organized a national video conference on the development and construction of renewable energy electricity nationwide.

The meeting emphasized that to achieve a good start for the "15th Five-Year Plan", efforts should be focused on five key areas. First, we must have confidence in development and strengthen policy supply and implementation. We should implement the requirements of the Energy Law, promote the issuance of policy documents on the system of minimum proportion of renewable energy consumption, and further expand the consumption of renewable energy by imposing responsibilities on key energy-consuming industries and enterprises from the consumption side. Secondly, we need to increase investment efforts and ensure the implementation of the investment plan for the first quarter of 2026. Focusing on promoting investment and stabilizing growth, we should accelerate project construction, start construction as soon as possible where conditions allow, and contribute new energy strength to the good start of the "15th Five-Year Plan".
