Brazil initiates a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on colorless float glass involving China.

On February 11, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 9 for the year 2026, initiating the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on colorless float glass with a thickness of 2 mm to 19 mm originating from China, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico. This decision was made in response to the application submitted by the Brazilian Association of Automotive Glass Industry on July 25, 2025. The involved products are classified under the Mercosur tariff code 7005.29.00. The dumping investigation period is from April 2024 to March 2025, and the injury investigation period is from April 2020 to March 2025. The announcement will take effect from the date of its publication.
