100% of prefectural-level cities and directly-administered municipalities across the country can provide psychological outpatient services.

On February 12th, it was learned from the National Health Commission that since the launch of the "Mental Health Service Year" action in 2025, 100% of prefecture-level cities and directly-administered counties in the country have provided psychological outpatient services. This year, the National Health Commission further proposed the goal of adding 110 counties to provide psychological outpatient services. By the end of November, efforts will be made to ensure that at least one county-level public hospital in counties with more concentrated population and greater demand will provide psychological outpatient services.
