The State Council Information Office held a press conference today to introduce the "Space Coordinated Planning for the Modern Capital Metropolitan Area." In order to fully promote the implementation of the plan, Beijing will seize the opportunity to expand the Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center, strengthen cooperation and collaboration in innovation and industry with Tianjin and Hebei. Tianjin will accelerate the construction of the Northern International Shipping Core Zone to create a convenient sea port for the capital and Xiong'an New Area. Hebei Province will jointly build a world-class airport group and port group with Beijing and Tianjin, from different directions to create an economic corridor connecting Beijing and Tianjin, deeply integrate into the domestic and international dual circulation.
