Cuban fuel shortages impact shipping: Two Russian airlines suspend flights on related routes

The Russian aviation regulatory agency stated that two Russian airlines have temporarily suspended their commercial flights to Cuba due to fuel shortages. The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced on Telegram on Wednesday that Rossiya Airlines, a subsidiary of the Russian airline company, will arrange several flights to repatriate Russian tourists currently in Cuba before suspending operations on the route until fuel supply conditions improve. The agency also mentioned that Nordwind Airlines has also halted flights to Cuba due to refueling difficulties.
