The 30-year U.S. Treasury yield rate fell by more than 7.4 basis points.
On Tuesday's closing bell in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury fell by 6.14 basis points to 4.1407%, continuing to decline throughout the day, dropping even faster after US retail sales data was released at 21:30 Beijing time. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury dropped by 3.31 basis points to 3.4520%, while the yield on the 30-year US Treasury dropped by 7.42 basis points to 4.7840%. The spread between the 2-year and 10-year US Treasury yields fell by 2.824 basis points to +68.458 basis points. The yield on the 10-year inflation-protected US Treasury dropped by 3.89 basis points to 1.8248%, the 2-year TIPS yield rose by 0.31 basis points to 0.6923%, and the 30-year TIPS yield fell by 5.53 basis points to 2.5308%.
