According to Guangxi Daily, on February 9th, it was reported by the Autonomous Region Department of Natural Resources that Guangxi will coordinate the allocation of 260 million yuan of autonomous region financial funds this year to carry out mineral exploration work, doubling the investment in mineral exploration compared to 2025, in order to support the successful start of the "Fifteen-Five" mineral exploration action. This year, Guangxi will focus on deploying comprehensive surveys in key metal high-quality development experimental zones in Nandan, key metal mineral exploration in key areas, strategic mineral exploration of aluminum, manganese, zirconium, and basic geological surveys and strategic mineral potential surveys. It is expected to identify 8-10 mineral exploration target areas and add a number of mineral resources such as manganese, aluminum, tin, and antimony.
