Bellway saw a slight increase in demand in the initial weeks of the spring sales season and reaffirmed its performance expectations, but Peel Hunt predicts that the average expectations will not change. Analysts Sam Cullen and Clyde Lewis stated in a report that in the medium term, apart from macroeconomic recovery, this residential construction firm's ability to create value may depend on the speed at which it contracts its balance sheet and improves operational efficiency. The analysts said, "The company has maintained its full-year sales outlook of 9,200 units, an average selling price expectation of around 320,000, and an operating profit margin of 11%. Therefore, we do not expect any change in average expectations." The stock rose 3.5% to 2,632 pence.
