Last year, Chaoyang District achieved a regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 966.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%.

According to the "Beijing Chaoyang" WeChat public account, the economic indicator data for Beijing's Chaoyang District in 2025 has been released. In the first to fourth quarters of 2025, the regional GDP of Chaoyang District reached 966.85 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2% year-on-year at constant prices. In terms of production, large-scale industrial enterprises achieved a total industrial output value of 200.52 billion yuan; from January to November, the revenue of production-oriented service industries such as transportation, leasing and business services, and technology services increased by 22.0%, 6.4%, and 10.5% respectively, with growth rates higher than the city average. In terms of demand, the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 260.03 billion yuan, with online retail sales in wholesale and retail trade above quota, accommodation and catering industry totaling 77.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.5%; high-tech industry investment increased by 6.9% year-on-year.
