Multiple departments in Taiyuan have held talks with MCN agencies, focusing on addressing malicious defamation targeting car companies such as Xiaomi and Ideal.
Recently, the Taiyuan City Committee Internet Information Office, in conjunction with the Municipal Public Security Bureau, held a centralized interview with 13 MCN agencies. In response to some MCN agencies and bloggers recently making derogatory and malicious comments about new energy vehicle companies such as Xiaomi and Lixiang, damaging the brand reputation of these companies, the meeting emphasized that any MCN agency and online content creator must strictly abide by industry norms and business ethics, and must not organize or participate in behaviors such as online water armies, malicious complaints, or provocation and hype against enterprises and products, in order to jointly maintain a fair competition and healthy market and online environment. The participating companies signed a commitment to operate in compliance on the spot.
