France issues Year of the Horse zodiac stamps.

To celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, the French postal service held a ceremony in Paris on the 6th for the release of Year of the Horse commemorative stamps. There are two designs for the Year of the Horse stamps, both designed by the French-Chinese artist Chen Jianghong. One stamp is worth 1.52 euros, featuring a white horse wearing a red Chinese knot-shaped bridle, looking back over its shoulder. The other stamp is worth 2.25 euros, featuring a proud white horse with head lifted high and hooves raised. Both stamps are inscribed with the words "Year of the Horse" in Chinese and French.
