Europe's major stock indices closed higher across the board.

The Europe Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.89%, the Europe Stoxx index rose by 0.85%, and the Eurozone blue-chip stock index rose by 1.18%. The French CAC 40 index rose by 0.48%, the Spanish IBEX index rose by 1.04%, and the UK FTSE 100 index rose by 0.55%. The German DAX index rose by 0.93%.
