TCL's subsidiary, Maxeon Solar Pte. Ltd., has signed a patent licensing agreement with Shanghai Auxin New Energy Co., Ltd., with a total licensing fee of 1.65 billion yuan.

Announcement from TCL: Holding subsidiary Maxeon Solar Technologies, Ltd.'s wholly-owned subsidiary Maxeon Solar Pte. Ltd. has signed a "Patent License Agreement" with Shanghai Aisun New Energy Co., Ltd. Maxeon Solar Pte. Ltd. will grant Shanghai Aisun New Energy Co., Ltd. the patents related to "back-contact" solar cells and components. The license period is five years from the date of the agreement, with a total license fee of 1.65 billion RMB, to be paid over five years according to the agreement.
