In a report by Marc Schattenberg of Deutsche Bank, the future months will test whether the recent recovery in the German industry can be sustained. He pointed out that by the end of 2025, the momentum of industrial production weakened, with output in the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors shrinking significantly in November and not being offset by growth in the construction industry. However, industrial output increased by 0.9% month-on-month in the last three months of last year. Manufacturing orders in December increased significantly by 7.8%, which will be a key factor in determining the sustainability of this broader growth trend.
