On February 6, the Information Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province held a series of themed press conferences on the achievements of Guangdong in the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan". The theme of this press conference was the construction of a modern industrial system. Zhu Wei, Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province and Executive Deputy Director of the Pearl River Delta Office, stated at the meeting that during the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period, emerging industries in Guangdong have developed vigorously. By 2025, the province's integrated circuit production is expected to reach 94.24 billion units, an increase of 152% compared to 2020; the core industry scale of artificial intelligence is expected to reach 300 billion yuan by 2025; the production of industrial robots and service robots both rank first in the country; by 2025, the production of civil drones in Guangdong is expected to increase by 39% year-on-year, accounting for over 90% of the country's total.
