Nigerian National Petroleum CEO: Currently in talks with a Chinese company, considering appointing them to manage the operations of its refineries.
On February 4th local time, Bayo Ojulari, the CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, stated at the Nigeria International Energy Summit that the company is in talks with partners with a strong track record in the petrochemical sector, aiming to build sustainable and profitable solutions for its refineries. Ojulari revealed that he is in negotiations with a Chinese company to consider letting them operate their refineries. Ojulari mentioned that he recently had a meeting with a potential Chinese investor, but did not disclose the name of the company, only stating that the company operates one of the largest petrochemical plants in the world.
