China Unicom's Beidou short message service trial commercial launch

According to People's Post and Telecommunications News, China Unicom recently officially received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to conduct commercial trials of public applications using the Beidou-3 short message system. This marks a key milestone for China Unicom in advancing the integration of satellite communication and ground mobile communication applications, and taking service capabilities to a new level.
