There was a major traffic accident in Dalian involving 5 deaths and 2 injuries, Liaoning Provincial Safety Commission has set up a special team to oversee the investigation.

The Safety Production Committee of Liaoning Province issued a notice on the supervision and handling of a major production safety accident, pointing out that at around 6:50 am on February 3, a major road traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Seventeen Road and Lianfu Road in Qidingshan Street, Jinzhou District, Dalian City, resulting in 5 deaths and 2 injuries. The provincial safety committee decided to supervise and handle the investigation of this major accident by hanging a notice.
