Tianjin Housing Provident Fund New Policy Details Released

Recently, the Tianjin Housing Provident Fund Management Center issued a notice regarding the revision of the Tianjin Individual Housing Provident Fund Loan Business Operation Rules, which will be implemented starting from February 1, 2026. The revised rules specify details on loan processing, repayment, and changes. It is stated that individuals who meet one of the following conditions will be issued housing provident fund loans according to the rules: those without their own housing within the city or those who have purchased affordable housing provided by the city; those without a record of housing provident fund loans in the city; families with multiple children who have previously taken out and repaid a housing provident fund loan in the city; those who have taken out and repaid a housing provident fund loan in the city but are purchasing a new property in a different administrative region. Families with outstanding housing provident fund loans or who have used the fund for housing loans twice will not be granted housing provident fund loans.
