The Kuomintang-Communist Party think tank forum closed yesterday in Beijing. Before returning to Taiwan, KMT Vice Chairman Hsiao Hsu-tsen stated that this trip follows the mainstream public opinion in Taiwan, aiming to pragmatically establish a platform for cross-strait dialogue. He believes that as long as we start with practical matters, higher-level exchanges will naturally follow. On the afternoon of the 4th, KMT Vice Chairman Hsiao Hsu-tsen led a delegation to visit Tsinghua University. In the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Hsiao Hsu-tsen and the delegation exchanged views with faculty and students on the application of artificial intelligence technology, disaster prevention, new energy, and other areas of industry-academia-research cooperation. It is worth noting that on the day the forum closed, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the resumption of Shanghai residents' travel to Kinmen and Matsu. Hsiao Hsu-tsen stated that this is a good start.
