Central SOEs are speeding up strategic integration again, and two major central SOEs are carrying out specialized integration of their automobile testing businesses.

Yesterday, China FAW Group and China Automotive Technology Research Center jointly announced in Changchun, Jilin that they will professionally integrate their automotive testing businesses, striving to create the world's largest automotive testing institution. This professional integration of the two major central enterprises is carried out through equity transfer, with the China Automotive Technology Research Center holding the Changchun Automotive Testing Center under China FAW Group. After the integration, the technical service capability of the China Automotive Technology Research Center will exceed 6,000 items. While achieving 100% testing and certification of intelligent connected new energy vehicles, it will also establish a systematic technical support system for Chinese automotive companies going global, helping China integrate into the global automotive standard system and the new pattern of industry development. Experts have stated that the professional integration of the automotive testing businesses of the two major central enterprises, along with the strategic integration of several other central enterprises in the past, fully demonstrates that central enterprise integration has entered a "deep water area." In the future, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council will further promote the optimization of the layout and structural adjustment of state-owned enterprises, accelerating the construction of more world-class companies.
