On February 3rd, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment organized a meeting to promote the work of nuclear and radiation safety supervision in 2026. The meeting pointed out the need to solidly promote the implementation of the "Fifteen Five" Nuclear Safety Plan, the implementation of decisions on nuclear safety supervision, the modernization of laws and standards, the supervision of key projects and nuclear facilities safety, radiation safety and environmental supervision, and to accelerate the construction of a modern nuclear safety supervision system that is in line with the development of China's nuclear industry, ensuring a high-quality start to nuclear and radiation safety supervision in the "Fifteen Five" period.
