The Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Fire Rescue Bureau recently issued a "Notice on Promoting the Healthy and Orderly Development of New Types of Performance Venues". The notice points out that in recent years, various "performance new spaces", LiveHouses, and other new types of performance venues have flourished, and immersive performance forms have been widely welcomed, playing a positive role in innovative cultural tourism consumption scenes and meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of the people. In order to further clarify the fire safety standards for new types of performance venues, streamline the performance approval process, and promote the healthy and orderly development of new types of performance venues, the notice makes specific requirements in three areas: optimizing approval and filing services, creating a good business environment, strengthening market cultivation, promoting innovative integration development, and implementing safety responsibilities, and consciously maintaining the order of the performance market. At the same time, in order to standardize the fire safety management of new types of performance venues, improve the level of fire safety management of new types of performance venues, prevent and reduce fires, in accordance with the "Fire Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations on the Management of Commercial Performances", the "Requirements for Fire Safety Management of New Types of Performance Venues" have been formulated. It makes detailed management requirements for fire safety in new types of performance venues in terms of basic safety conditions of the venue, fire safety responsibilities, fire prevention requirements for the decoration and stage setting of new types of performance venues, fire and electricity safety management, safety evacuation management, fire education and training, and other six aspects.
