On Tuesday, Microsoft announced to its employees that the company will promote four sales executives. Just a few months ago, this software giant appointed sales leader Judson Althoff as its Chief Commercial Officer. The company's employees are currently using generative artificial intelligence models to develop various new applications, and investors have been closely watching Microsoft and other veteran software companies to see how much business growth they can achieve through this. Microsoft's stock price has fallen 15% so far this year, ranking at the bottom among the seven tech giants. Last week, Azure cloud business growth data released by Microsoft did not meet some market expectations. Company executives stated that they plan to allocate more computing resources to the research and development team and their artificial intelligence products, including Microsoft 365 Copilot productivity software plug-ins, GitHub Copilot code assistance tools, while still meeting the demands of Azure customers.
