State Grid Corporation of China held talks with the Party Committee and Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

On February 2nd, Zhang Zhigang, Chairman and Party Secretary of State Grid Corporation of China, held talks with Chen Xiaojiang, Party Secretary of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and Aierken Tuniyazi, Vice Party Secretary and Chairman of the Autonomous Region. Zhang Zhigang stated that the company will focus on its functional positioning, actively align with the "15th Five-Year Plan" of the autonomous region, comprehensively serve the economic and social development and energy transition of Xinjiang, accelerate the construction of the "power transmission project to other provinces," promote the speed and efficiency of major projects in Xinjiang's grid construction, as well as support the development of new energy industries in southern Xinjiang, making greater contributions to the economic and social development and improvement of people's livelihood in Xinjiang.
