Supreme People's Procuratorate: Increase efforts to crack down on corruption crimes in key areas and people's livelihood areas.
Zhang Xiaojin, Director of the Office of Duty Crime Prosecution of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, introduced in an interview on February 3rd that in the past year, the procuratorial organs have increased the intensity of combating corruption crimes in key areas and areas related to people's livelihoods, actively participated in the anti-corruption campaigns in key areas, and cooperated to deepen the crackdown on corruption issues affecting the general public. From January to November 2025, procuratorial organs nationwide have prosecuted over 7,800 individuals involved in duty crimes in key areas such as finance, state-owned enterprises, energy, construction engineering, and bidding; prosecuted over 4,100 individuals in duty crimes related to people's livelihoods such as healthcare and education; and prosecuted over 1,200 individuals in duty crimes related to township and village organizations.
