US stock Lumentum continues to rise in after-hours trading, up more than 4%

US stocks in the optical communications sector continued to rise in after-hours trading, with Lumentum up more than 4%. The stock closed up more than 8% overnight and will announce its recent quarterly performance after the market closes tomorrow; Corning rose nearly 4%, while Coherent rose more than 2%.
