On February 2, the US Department of Commerce announced the initiation of the first sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on corrosion inhibitors imported from China. At the same time, the US International Trade Commission initiated an industry injury investigation on the above-mentioned products subject to the first sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing duties, examining whether the cancellation of the current anti-dumping and countervailing measures would continue to cause substantial harm to the domestic industry in the foreseeable future. Interested parties should register with the US Department of Commerce within 10 days of the publication of this announcement. Interested parties should submit their responses to the US International Trade Commission by March 4, 2026, and provide comments on the sufficiency of the response by April 13, 2026.
