On February 2, the China Automobile Dealers Association released the latest issue of the "Automobile Consumption Index": in January 2026, the Automobile Consumption Index was 31.1. It is expected that sales in February will decrease compared to January, as the market enters the off-season due to the impact of the Spring Festival. Influenced by factors such as the long Spring Festival holiday, overconsumption of earlier demand, the reduction of purchase tax on new energy vehicles, and consumers' expectations for post-holiday promotions and new product launches, the automobile market in February will enter a period of phased adjustment.
